Edelbrock 1906 AVS2 Carburetor 650 CFM - Electric Choke, Satin Finish

The Edelbrock AVS2 Series 1906 is a four-barrel carburetor with a satin finish and an electric choke. It is specifically designed and calibrated for optimal street performance in engines requiring a 650 CFM air-fuel flow. The AVS2 is an excellent option as a replacement or upgrade, featuring annular flow primary boosters with a new calibration for enhanced off-idle and cruising performance.

The annular flow booster design of the AVS2 ensures improved fuel atomization, eliminating any flat spots that may occur during the transition from idle to full throttle. Each annular flow booster is equipped with eight evenly spaced orifices to enhance fuel metering from idle to the main circuit. This improved flow metering makes the carburetor suitable for use with a wide range of small- and big-block engines, whether equipped with dual- or single-plane intake manifolds.

In addition, the Edelbrock AVS2 #1906 comes with both timed and full vacuum ports for ignition advance. It includes .101 primary and .098 secondary metering jets, as well as .070 x .037 metering rods and an orange (5" Hg) step-up spring. For installation, Carburetor Stud Kits #8008 or #8024 may be necessary.

The Edelbrock AVS2 #1906 is compatible with various manifolds such as the Edelbrock Performer, Performer EPS, RPM Air-Gap, Performer RPM, Torker II, or other similar designs.
