JIK Carburetor for Edelbrock 1406 - 600 CFM

The JIK Carburetor is designed specifically for the Edelbrock 1406 Performer 600 CFM Square Bore 4-Barrel Electric Choke. It is compatible with a range of V8 engines, including 5.0L 305 Cu, 5.2L 318 Cu, 5.7L 350 Cu, 5.8L 351 Cu, and 5.9L 360 Cu. This carburetor is suitable for a variety of vehicles, including Chevy Chevelle 350, Cheyenne Pickup, Corvette, Silverado, and Camaro; Ford Mercury Cougar 289 4V, Mustang GT 289, Mach One 351 Windsor, and Bronco 531 m; GM GMC Pickup/Truck, Pontiac LeMans T37; and other models like Grand Wagoneer, CJ5, J20, Delta 88, Plymouth, GTO, and Cadillac Deville.

The design of this carburetor features a two-piece all aluminum structure, resulting in lower working temperatures and less warpage. It can be used with manual or electric choke carburetors, and is ideal for small and large engines looking for good street performance and fuel economy. The carburetor is not impacted by engine flashback as it does not have a power valve that can blow out. Additionally, the rod can be replaced within seconds without removing the carburetor.

Please note that this performer series carburetor is not suitable for computer control applications, including certain General Motors vehicles equipped with a Q-Jet carburetor in 1981 and later, as well as some Ford vehicles with automatic overdrive (AOD) transmission in 1981 and later.
