New Edelbrock 1405 Performer 600 CFM Carburetor

The Edelbrock Performer Square Bore Air Valve Secondary Manual Choke New Carburetor is constructed with two pieces of aluminum, providing cooler operating temperatures and less warping. Calibrated for optimal street performance and fuel efficiency in engines of 402 CID and larger with the Edelbrock Performer manifolds, this carburetor does not have gaskets below the fuel bowl level to minimize leaks and does not contain plastic parts or power valves that may blow out. It features both timed and full vacuum ports for ignition advance, as well as easily changeable metering rods for precise tuning. Warranty covers only the replacement or repair of the product, excluding removal and installation costs. With a primary bore diameter of 1.44 and a secondary bore diameter of 1.69, this carburetor is designed for small-block and some big-block engines. It is compatible with various manifolds including Edelbrock Performer, Performer EPS, Performer RPM, RPM Air-Gap, Torker II, and similar models. The carburetor also includes metering jets of sizes .100 for the primary and .095 for the secondary, metering rods of .070 x .047, and an orange step-up spring (5" Hg). If needed, carb studs can be used. This manifold features dual-plane high rise design and is not equipped with provisions for exhaust heated chokes or EGR. It can work with manual or electric choke carbs and is suitable for use with late-model water neck, air conditioning, alternator, and HEI equipment. However, it may not fit under a stock Corvette hood due to its universal fit type.
