1406 Carburetor for Performance Vehicles with Electric Choke

The carburetor can work with either manual or electric choke and is compatible with intake manifolds such as Performer EPS, Performer RPM, RPM Air Gap, Torker Ⅱ, and similar designs. It does not come with EGR and lacks an exhaust heating throttle, so it is not suitable for use under a stock Corvette hood.

Fitment includes Chevy models like Chevelle 350, Cheyenne Pickup, Corvette, Silverado, Camaro, as well as Ford models such as Mercury Cougar 289, 4V Mustang GT 289, Mach One 351, Windsor Bronco 531, GM models like GMC Pickup/Truck, Pontiac LeMans T37, and other models like Grand Wagoneer, CJ5, J20, Delta 88, Plymouth, GTO, and Cadillac Deville.

This carburetor features a two-piece all-aluminum design that reduces warpage and operates at a lower temperature. It is suitable for both manual and electric choke carburetors.

Designed for small and some large engines, this carburetor offers good street performance and fuel economy. It is resistant to engine flashback, as it does not have a power valve that can blow out. Additionally, the rod can be easily replaced without having to remove the carburetor.

Please note that this carburetor is not recommended for computer control applications, including general motors’ vehicles with Q-Jet carburetors produced in 1981 or later, and some Ford vehicles with automatic overdrive (AOD) transmissions from 1981 onwards.

The package includes 1 x 1406 performer carburetor, 1 x square-bore base gasket, 1 x horn gasket, 1 x air cleaner stud, 2 x fuel filters, 4 x clamps, 1 x fuel line, 1 x Red choke positive wire (for electric choke carburetors), 1 x Black choke ground wire (for electric choke carburetors), and other necessary components.
